A fun personal experiment, built in a conversation with
Claude.
Nothing here is my achievement alone.
This is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected
to OpenStreetMap, the OpenStreetMap Foundation, OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles, MapLibre,
the World Bank, the Wikimedia Foundation, ColorBrewer or Nothing. No claim is
made over any of their work.
This project exists only because those projects gave
their work away. It points at them — it does not compete with them,
replace them, or take anything from them. The map data, the tiles and most of
the code underneath belong to the people below. If you like what you
see, the credit is theirs.

coastline and building here is the work of volunteer mappers.

- Monument ranking is by Wikipedia language coverage — really the work of
Wikipedia's editors
Colour & type
- ColorBrewer
— Cynthia Brewer & Mark Harrower, Penn State. The population ramp is
their YlOrRd, reversed so brightness rises with population on black
- Dotwork, Space Mono, Space Grotesk — SIL Open Font License 1.1
- The dot-matrix look is inspired by Nothing's visual language. Their Ndot
typeface is licensed for Nothing brand materials only and is deliberately
not used or shipped here
